There’s a lot of hype right now about living a life you love. This can mean so many different things to different people. It doesn’t mean you have to sell everything you own and start that #VanLife to be happy or to have that next step up at your job or your next Ryan Gosling.
We often think when we have the next thing we’ll be happy. You can start building a life you LOVE now. Sometimes this does need drastic measures and sometimes it doesn’t.
Here’s a few simple steps.
1. Look at who you surround yourself with. Are your friends, family members, co-workers bettering your day and the person you are or do you feel totally wiped out and drained? Of course you can’t always cut certain people off but you can limit your time and start building more fun and stable relationships with people that share your same morals and values.
2. Whether you think about it or not,we do spend the majority of our time at our J-O-B-S. So if you are extremely miserable, what can you tweak for the present time and then can you begin building a plan with a coach or your own research into another direction?
3. Self Talk. Start taking an inventory of the thoughts you’re telling yourself. We are our own worst enemies with this and our thoughts shape and mold our entire look at life which results in our emotions. This doesn’t mean to pretend everything is sunshine 24/7 but you also need to watch if you’re being negative Nancy and how you can then tweak those thoughts in the opposite direction.
