Lately I’ve been feeling very sluggish. It’s been hard to get motivated. Other women have shared lately how when they feel overwhelmed they want to shutdown and fall into the “Netflix Mode” of doing nothing. I think we’ve all been there to an extent.
Today during my opening for teaching yoga, I spoke about how movement stirs up creativity and obviously boosts our moods. There is research that shows movement literally changes our brains. Our physical bodies and minds are intimately connected.
So if you’re feeling a little blah lately, get yourself moving…to a workout class, a walk outside, a youtube video..whatever it is! Sometimes we have to make ourselves do things until we finally get back into the groove where we enjoy it again. XO Rachel- The Beauty Boost
