The next series will be all about “The Morning Routine.” The morning routine is something I’ve strived to nail down. I’ve talked with coaches, watched podcasts and talked to those who do and don’t have an AM agenda. The truth is it’s hard.
BUT I’ve had the opportunity to talk to a few amazing women from all backgrounds and schedules who were willing to share their morning routine with YOU. So read on and enjoy.

Q1: What does your morning routine look like?
I wake up very early and read for about 2 hours! With coffee (of course). This is my research time. I love to learn new things. Often times my studies will stretch to the two year mark on one single topic, especially if it’s science or human-behavior-related. The only way to keep learning is to carve out this study time every morning before I begin my day.
Q2: What do you do on daily/weekly/monthly basis to make you a better you?
Oh boy! A LOT. It feel it is the utmost importance to feel creative, happy, and unburdened each day in order to do my work and to also have time for my friends, family, and passion projects. I wrote a whole post on this here!
Q3: How do you fit in everything you need to get done with work, social life & just basic life essentials?
I am a hard core scheduler. It’s the only way! But I also love a lot of spaciousness between tasks and projects, so I allow for that. If I think it’s going to take me two hours to do something, I schedule 3. My other superpower is being very decisive. I can make decisions easily and over the years I’ve learned how to graciously say no A LOT.
Q4: What is your profession? What are your daily duties and responsibilities. Paint the picture for a day in your life.
I am a Life Strategist. I founded BLISSBOMBED.com (now stephaniestclaire.com) in 2009 and run both the front end and back end of my business single handedly.
Q5: What would you do if you had more time?
I would write more and probably take on more organizational projects.
Q6: Where do you find your inspiration and how do you stay motivated?
I find my inspiration living in New York City. It’s my soul city and constantly feeds me. I stay motivated by connecting with my goals, listening to other people’s stories, and asking myself daily, “What do I have to offer?” There’s always something you can find within, when you ask that question with an open heart.
Q7: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone attempting to pursue their dream?
Be patient with your progress. Be there for yourself like a best friend would. Believe that your dream is do-able even before you feel it is do-able. It works in that order :)
Q8: What’s a quote, mantra or saying you live by?
Going after a big dream is like driving your car at night. You can only see as far as your headlights, but you can make the whole trip that way. (A version of what E.L. Doctorow said about novel writing) :)
Q9: What’s your biggest tip for staying organized?
To schedule a twice-a-year 5 day staycation for yourself and organize your life. I do this and it makes the rest of the year streamlined. I even created a step-by-step ebook about my process:
