Fall Bucket List For The Girls

Hey Gal! Happy Monday!

Fall is here!

This week we're switching things up a bit with a fall bucket list:)

When I take the time to truly embrace the season we're in, it helps me remain present. We all deserve to slow down and take in the little things in life that make us appreciate the here and now. Even if you can't check off every single thing on this bucket list, choose one or two that resonate with you (or create your own activity)!

Fall Bucket List

THE FOOD: My go-to fall dessert is apple pie—just the thought makes my mouth water. But let's not forget pumpkin pie, pumpkin roll, cinnamon buns, carrot cake, apple cider donuts, and don't even get me started on caramel apples.

FESTIVE N COZY: Who doesn't love a cozy movie night with friends? Grab your coziest blankets and maybe even some spiked apple cider. And don't forget to load up on the fall treats from Trader Joe's! Bonus points if you find a drive-in theater. In case you were wondering what festive movie to watch, here are my two favs: “When Harry Met Sally” and “Harry Potter.”

STARBUCKS FOR THE WIN: In case you haven't already heard, every Thursday, Starbucks is doing a deal where if you buy a fall-themed drink, you get a second one for free. This Thursday, call a friend and RUN; don't walk to Starbucks and go all out with some pumpkin cream cold brews!

CANDLES & VIBES: I'm telling you, candles might just top my list of favorite things in the world. I've been in pumpkin-scented candle heaven since late August (opt for the essential oils vs fragrance). If you're like me and find that lighting candles makes you a happier person, make sure you find your perfect fall scent—be it pumpkin spice, cinnamon, leaves, apple, you name it—and light that dang candle every night as you unwind.

THE WALK: Okay, so can we all agree that there's nothing better than the fresh, crisp air and colorful leaves that fall brings? Lately, I've started inviting friends on weekly 'hot girl walks + talks.' These are exactly what they sound like: going on walks with your best girlfriends and chatting about ANYTHING. I've had some of the deepest, most freeing convos on these walks, and I've also had the most lighthearted, hilarious convos on these walks. One thing is for sure: these walks are hands down the highlight of my week.

FALL MUSIC: I'm not sure why, but whenever the fall season comes around, all I want to do is listen to some Taylor Swift and Lana Del Ray. Their music just screams autumn vibes to me. Curating a brand new playlist filled with songs that hit me with waves of fall nostalgia makes me feel in touch. If you're a big music listener, start a new playlist and add songs that put you in your autumn feels.

THE SHOWS: Gilmore Girls is the epitome of a fall comfort show. The pumpkins, books, coffee, and characters bring solace to the busy, fast-paced life most of us live. Just trust me on this: you will be imagining you are in Stars Hollow; Gilmore Girls is the perfect escape.

FRIENDSGIVING: Ah, Friendsgiving <3 my favorite event of the season. Whether you're someone who attends a friendsgiving every year, hosts a friendsgiving every year, or has never been to a friendsgiving, make sure you do it this year! For me, nothing beats the warmth of friendship. I genuinely see our friends as our soulmates. Take a night, eat some delicious food, sip on some fall cocktails, and let your friends know how grateful you are for them. I promise you, it's a night you'll cherish forever.

Affirmation of the week: This fall, I'll spend more time doing what I love.
