From Goals to Growth…Practical Steps for Personal Development This Fall

We're chatting Goals to Growth when it comes to personal development this Fall. I LOVE any topic that helps me be a better human and live a more intentional + FUN life. Let's dive in and feel free to do ALL of these or pick the ones that resonate. 

 

1. Embrace the Season of Change

  • Schedule a Reflection Session: Set aside 30 minutes at the start of each month to review your goals and progress. Use this time to jot down what's working, what isn't, and adjust your goals as needed. Maybe even buddy up with a girlfriend for this!

2. Set Mini-Goals for the Season

  • Weekly Action Plan: Break down your larger goals into weekly tasks. For example, if your goal is to improve your fitness, plan specific workouts for each day of the week, like “Monday: 30-minute run,” “Wednesday: yoga class,” and so on.

3. Get Social and Make Connections

  • Attend Local Events/Host a Friendsgiving: Join in a TBB event of the month to connect with YOURSELF + meet new friends and/or put together a little friendsgiving. If you're not sure who to invite…put it out there on our app or even a facebook page and meet some new gals!

4. Wellness Routine

  • Daily Wellness Routine: Create a daily checklist that includes activities for physical, mental, and emotional health. For instance, include items like “Drink 8 glasses of water,” “30 minutes of exercise,” and “10 minutes of meditation.” We know we're heard these and they're “basics” but the basics are what CHANGE YOUR LIFE. 

5. Reflect + Celebrate 

  • Journaling: Keep a personal development journal where you track your progress and jot down reflections. Write about what went well, what challenges you faced, and how you overcame them. Add rewards like getting a new book or something you enjoy.
