I am Valerie Maksym, and the founder of Maksymizing Life life coaching, based in Conroe, TX .
A little bit about myself:
At the age of 44, I found myself facing the challenges of divorce for the second time and, for the first time in my life, I would be living on my own. This newfound solitude became an opportunity for transformation as I embarked on a journey of self-discovery. Over the course of seven years, I undertook the process of healing and understanding the person I had become. Being a mother of four and a gigi of two, I strived to overcome the emotional turmoil I was facing and over time I became a stronger individual, with a newfound sense of self-confidence and self love. This determination led me to develop my passion for fitness, and I am now a nationally qualified NPC figure bodybuilder competitor. Alongside my physical achievements, I channeled my experiences into becoming a high-performance life coach and authoring a book entitled "Maksymizing Life." Today, at the age of 52, I am proud to say that I am in the best shape of my life, and I am a firm believer that age is just a number. By breaking free from limiting beliefs and embracing our inner superhero, we all have the potential to create the life we were meant to live.
Why I started:
I began life coaching to empower women to break free from their painful past circumstances and embrace their true potential. I encourage them to live their life true and authentic to who they were created to be. Through leveraging my life experiences and transforming the valuable lessons I have learned into relatable, practical guidance, I have discovered an unparalleled joy in not only my own journey, but also in witnessing the incredible growth and happiness of others. My mission is to inspire women to escape the confines of their limitations and fearlessly unleash their inner superhero while soaring into the life they have always dreamt of living.
What I love about being a business owner:
I love being a business owner because it allows me the time and freedom to set my own schedule. I get to use my creativity to develop amazing programs for my clients. I also enjoy networking and meeting new people while helping others pursue their goals and dreams.
What type of impact do you hope to have on those you meet and/or who purchase your products?
I hope to inspire others to unleash their inner superhero. To live a life outside of their comfort zone. To have the courage to break free from who they were told to be. To allow themself the freedom to live true and authentic to who they are to their core. To find their purpose and live a happily ever after magical life.
What is your favorite piece of advice you've ever received or favorite quote?
Every next level of your life will demand a different you!
What advice would you give your past self just starting your business?
Never quit! Once you have a plan, stay consistent and show up for yourself everyday. Never allow fear to stop you, look fear in the face and do it anyway. Do something everyday that is out of your comfort zone, that is where the change and growth takes place.
