HER STORY ⟡ Caroline Of Twinkling Tresses

Hey Everyone! 

My name is Caroline. I was born and raised in  Columbus, Ohio. I currently reside in Grandview, but often travel nationwide for work. I am momma to twin 10 year old boys who have changed my life in the most amazing ways. They drive and motivate me beyond measure. I am blessed to have been chosen to be their mom and they make me so proud. They are the reason that I push through tough days and never give up. 

Why I started:

My Fairy Hair journey began in 2015 when the service was performed on me while on a vacation in Florida. I returned to Ohio, loved my hair so much, but couldn’t find a single sole in the city that could maintain it. I actually thought maybe I could figure out how to do it to myself. I learned very quickly that I could not, but I did learn how to do it on others.. Initially, I thought it would be a fun way to try and earn some extra cash on the side. I was a struggling, single mom to then 4 year old twin boys. I worked full-time as a pharmacy technician for Ohio State, but it was never enough.

What I love about being a business owner:

I love being my own boss. I love the freedom to be as creative as I want and the power to make my dreams come true. I love sharing my journey and motivating and inspiring others. Being a business owner and doing something I truly LOVE doing is extremely rewarding and fulfilling.

What type of impact do you hope to have on those you meet and/or who purchase your products?

I hope that everyone I serve feels confident, beautiful and bold. I hope they enjoy their experience with me. I hope the smile they walk away with is one that graces their face for days, weeks, and even months to come when they realize the joy that Fairy Hair brings to their lives, and to those around them. Fairy Hair is life changing and empowering in a way that is difficult to explain. It truly needs to be experienced to fully understand it.

Who or what inspires you?

I think my clients inspire me most. I see my clients on a regular basis and Fairy Hair is always the highlight of their day. They’ve made me realize that the world needs a whole lot more sparkle. I won’t stop until Twinkling Tresses Fairy Hair is a household name!

What does BEAUTY mean to you?

Beauty is unconditional love. Beauty is a feeling. True beauty isn’t visual, it’s emotional. 

What advice would you give your past self just starting your business?

Do it scared!
