Tell us about you and your background!
Hi, I’m Elena, the owner of Paramedical Beauty, and a licensed medical massage therapist (LMT) specializing in sports therapy, myofascial release, and neuromuscular facilitation therapy.
Tell us about your business and why you started it!
Paramedical Beauty is a state-of-the-art Med Spa in Cincinnati specializing in natural, highly effective esthetics and full body skin care treatments, along with a holistic approach to therapeutic massage that delivers increased mobility, pain relief and full body relaxation to our clients.
What makes us different? I’m a former professional athlete and currently practicing medical massage therapy, so I bring a unique and relevant understanding of body mechanics, health and wellness, to Paramedical Beauty. That’s why we only offer products and services that are thoroughly researched, to ensure they will deliver the exciting results our clients expect, but more importantly, deserve. And, we charge one flat fee for each service that includes ”all the terrific extras” that others may charge for, delivering incredible value!
What do you love about being a business owner?
Helping our clients look and feel their very best is our #1 priority. My greatest joy is seeing the look of relief on a client’s face after a therapeutic session with me. And, our esthetician, Georgia, loves helping her clients feel confident and beautiful in their own skin.
What advice would you give yourself from 5 years ago OR your past self just starting your business?
I would tell myself that anything and everything is possible with enough hard work, determination, and an unwavering passion to serve our clients exceptionally well. Just remember to take a deep breath and be present in the moment.
What does BEAUTY mean to you?
Beauty to me is first and foremost about being kind to yourself! Slow down and listen to that amazing body you have been given. Mother nature made us invincible, giving the most unique gift of all, healing without any chemicals. Beauty is what brings you “HAPPY”. For me it’s everything in balance, including skincare, exercise, mental health, and giving your body proper nutrition every day. When you take care of yourself, it’s amazing how you just radiate beauty. When you feel good, you look good!
Who or what inspires you?
I do everything for my beautiful daughter, Maya. She is my heart and soul. As a business owner, I had to take a risk to start my business, and I work very hard every day. I absolutely love what I do and I want to be a wonderful role model for my baby girl, so she knows the sky’s the limit for her.
