Hello Gorgeous Gals,

I am Julie of JulieAnn Aesthetic Medicine and Dermatology- a concierge general dermatology and cosmetic injectables service that travels to you and cares for you and yours in the comfort of your own home!

I am a Physician Assistant of 22 years, primarily in the specialty of Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine. My business provides cosmetic injectables like Botox and dermal fillers, along with diagnosis of dermatologic concerns like skin cancer screenings, full body mole exams, rashes, acne and anti-aging consultations. We operate out of either your home or office, or out of several salons and spas in Central Ohio.

When I’m not helping people feel and look beautiful, I am a mom of two who enjoys travel and embraces the day-to-day hectic life with 2 toddler boys. For that rare occasion when we have a sitter, we love to try new restaurants and check out live music venues around town.

Why I started:

Working in medicine as a Physician Assistant for the last 22 years – whether that was in emergency medicine, the urgent care, or in my specialty of dermatology–was literally making me sick. I have Crohn’s disease, and even minor day to day stress can be a major trigger for a life-threatening flare.

In 2021, I took control of my life and my health. After careful planning, I took the leap into entrepreneurship, doing something I love: helping people like me feel beautiful in their own skin while eliminating stress when it comes to their skin’s health.

What I love about being a business owner:

Being a business owner allows me to continue my work in Dermatology, while helping my patients the way I know is right: with ample time to answer questions and concerns, while building relationships, and making sure that patients have an outstanding experience with aesthetic medicine. I know that some people can be intimidated by injectables like Botox or facial fillers, even for some conditions that I treat with Botox like migraines, TMJ and trigger points. This way I can take the time to help them in their way, even in the comfort of their own home.

What type of impact do you hope to have on those you treat?

I want to offer a different and better health care experience. For some patients that may be the ease and access of having a health care provider come to their own home, on their time. Or how fast you can get my medical opinion, since I’m literally always on call for my patient base.

But for many it may be the sense of community developed by forging a relationship with an unbiased, health provider that patients can truly call on at any time. And who they can honestly call a friend.

Ultimately, patients seek my care because they feel my genuine concern for their total well-being. I am committed to educating and helping my patients achieve a natural, youthful appearance and becoming their best, most confident healthy self.

What inspires me:

All styles of music, morning meditation, my reiki provider, my husband, my boys, my long-time girlfriends and anyone who is courageous enough to think and act “outside of the box”.

My favorite piece of advice and a favorite quote.

Learn to pay attention to the little coincidences that surround you- everyone/everything comes into our lives or crosses our path for a reason.

“Nothing changes if nothing changes.”

What Beauty means to me:

Beauty is an inside job fueled by inner awareness, self-care, and healthy boundaries and habits.

The most radiantly beautiful people that I have met in my life, are beautiful on the inside and their outer beauty follows.

Advice I would give my past self:

I would say never let a failure defeat you: learn from it and use it to make you stronger. It’s not a reflection of who you can still become.

If something is not going the way you want it to go, it may be that whatever that is, was not meant for you… and that there is something better that is.

And don’t wait for the “right time” or for the money to follow your dreams. Do what you love in life and the money will follow.
