Why I started:
I decided to start my own business after the physician I had worked for 10 years moved. I opted my own path rather than seek employment elsewhere. By opening my own clinic I had the opportunity to take control of my professional destiny, shaping a work environment that aligned with my own values and vision for providing exceptional healthcare services. This decision reflected my commitment to delivering personalized care to my clients while establishing a fulfilling career path that offers both professional fulfillment and personal satisfaction.
What I love about being a business owner:
As a business owner I have the freedom to pursue my own passion, make own decisions and see the direct impact of my efforts on my business success. I also have the opportunity to contribute to the community and shape the direction of this industry. What type of impact do you hope to have on those you meet and/or who become your client? The impact I make on people is important to me. It’s crucial for building meaningful connections and trust. By being authentic, empathetic, and passionate in my interactions, I want to create positive impression that resonates with others. This type of impact promotes trust, loyalty, and sense of shared purpose, leading to stronger relationships and lasting partnerships.
Who inspires you?
My two granddaughters are my greatest inspiration. Their curiosity, infectious laughter and love remind me daily of the beauty and wonder in the world. Watching them grow and learn fills me with a profound sense of joy and purpose, driving me to be the best version of myself. Their presence in my life is a constant reminder of the importance of family and love motivating me to strive for excellence in everything I do.
What is your favorite piece of advice you’ve ever received or favorite quote? Learn from failures, embrace change, and maintain a positive mindset to overcome challenges and achieve long term success “Change…We don’t like it, we fear it. But we can’t stop it from coming. We either adapt to change, or we get left behind. It hurts to grow. Anybody who tells you it doesn’t, is lying. But here’s the truth: Sometimes, the more things change, the more they stay the same. And sometimes, change is good. Sometimes change is everything.”
What does BEAUTY mean to you?
As someone working in the aesthetic industry, a major role of my job is analyzing people’s faces and telling them how beautiful they are and to see themselves from my perspective. In Hopes of each individual understands that anything done is just enhancing their natural beauty. Aging is allowed and can be embraced as a beautiful and natural part of life. It’s about embracing authenticity and recognizing the beauty that comes with wisdom, grace, and lived experiences. While enhancing physical features is important to some, I believe beauty also goes beyond just external appearance. It’s equally important to reflect one’s inner beauty and qualities that contribute to a person’s character and values.
What advice would you give your past self just starting your business?
Trust your instincts, stay focused on your goals, and remember that every step, whether forward or backward, is part of the journey towards building a successful business.
