HER STORY ⟡ Sisters and Spirits
Hi babes!
My name is Mollie & I live right outside of Cincinnati with my husband, daughter, & two fur babies. I love being right outside of the city; Cincinnati is such a beautiful place & having it as the home base of our business is so much fun!
Sisters & Spirits started during a very difficult time of mine & my sisters life. Our mother just recently passed away earlier this year and we were so lost, looking for a way to live life to the fullest during the heartache.
We come from a long line of entrepreneurs and our mom always wanted to venture into the wedding industry and maybe one day own an event venue. If it’s one thing our family likes to do, it's to throw amazing events to spend time with our friends and family.
I vividly remember chatting with my mom about wanting to venture out of my 9-5 and start something of my own, and every time we always ended up talking about how much fun we would have in this industry.
S&S is not only our dream come true, but our moms as well. If this past year has taught us anything it is that life is short. So, rather than saying “maybe someday” we decided to take a chance and see where the journey takes us.
What I love about being a business owner:
I love having the chance to express myself through our brand and let my creativity flow. And what's even better is being able to network and meet new people in the industry. It's like a never-ending adventure, filled with exciting opportunities to build meaningful relationships along the way. It's truly an enjoyable experience!
What type of impact do you hope to have on those you meet and/or who purchase your products?
Our goal is to provide exceptional service and a memorable experience for every client. We take our business seriously, but never forget to have fun while doing it. We constantly look for new and creative ways to improve our services and to ensure that our clients have an unforgettable experience.
Who or what inspires you?
My momma inspired me. No matter what we were doing in life she was always there cheering us on & was the most selfless person I’ve ever known. I want to create a business that will allow me to be the best mother to my daughter & the best partner to my husband, just like she was.

What does BEAUTY mean to you?
Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself. Beauty is NOT defined by the size of your clothes, color of your skin, ethnicity, marital status, or income. It is when you have found the confidence to live in your most authentic, real, and honest form.
What advice would you give your past self just starting your business?
Quick thinking and start doing - you’re capable of more than you think!
