HER STORY ⟡ Tara Tonsetic
Hi there!
My name is Tara Tonsetic. I have been planning + executing events of all kinds for 22 years. I started my latest venture, give grace to gather in 2023, to be able to provide insight to female-owned businesses who want to generate additional revenue through events with grace + ease. I feel that everyone has a special story to tell, and I want to be able to help guide them through it in a creative way.
Through one-on-one chats, soon to be virtual classes + a retreat, as well as a book in late 2024, I am hoping I can share my gifts of events with others to help make a difference in their circles.
Why I started:
I have always been an entrepreneur at heart. I grew up with my family having a business - my grandfather owned a grocery store, and my mom owned a cake + candy store. I learned about hard work + having a good work ethic from a young age. I always had a desire to share my knowledge with others + to help shine a light on the great things others are doing in their businesses.
What I love about being a business owner:
I really like being able to take action on things I've created and seeing them from start to finish. I love the flexibility my business gives me to work on growing my own business, but also helping others with theirs. I love the whole launch process + seeing how things will grow and develop. I love to learn, so continuing to expand my knowledge (I am a certified small business coach as well) is awesome. I soak in as many books + podcasts as I can. Nerd alert, lol.
What type of impact do you hope to have on those you meet and/or who purchase your products?
I really just want to be able to help others. Provide a solution that will help them + bring them joy. It's that simple!
Who or what inspires you?
My son - he is so full of life. It's been my greatest joy to watch him grow into the young man he is becoming. He really does inspire me.
My mom - she is the pillar of hard-work, doing what you love + helping others. I am beyond blessed I've been able to learn from her + share so many life experiences together.
What is your favorite piece of advice you've ever received or favorite quote?
And in the end
The love you take
Is equal to
The love you make
I feel that you have to put love into everything you do - both work + play.
What does BEAUTY mean to you?
Beauty is all the things - feeling beautiful on the inside, the outside, it's in our daily lives, with the people + things we love.
What advice would you give your past self just starting your business?
Just start. Start somewhere. It does not have to be perfect, but take that first step. Have a plan, but know it's okay if you don't follow it perfectly. Small steps eventually = big steps.
What would you like our Beauty Boost members to know?
I am thrilled to be a part of this community + to connect with other like-minded gals!
