Our Top 5 Money Tips from this Summer
Hey Gal!
Can you believe how fast this summer has flown by? We're gearing up for the fall season...with a quick recap of the best money advice we've soaked in!
FIRST AND FOREMOST---if you are working towards a financial goal, understand things will have to change. This is the biggest block I find with friends/chatting with women. Sometimes we have to take a small step backwards to be able to move forward...that doesn't mean it's forever. But little sacrifices can have HUGE rewards.
The Recap:
1. Savvy Splurging: Set a budget for where you want to spend and stick to it. Example..I splurg on Nuuly every month which is a clothing rental company for about $90 and I schedule in a few friends dinners/HH. I give myself a budget on those things and then I try to eat in for breakfast/lunch etc.
Side Hustle Magic: From selling homemade crafts to offering online services, our summer has been all about embracing our entrepreneurial spirit. This doesn't have to be a full on side hustle but it can be nice to have multiple streams of income. I learned this at an early age and always applied it even when working corporate jobs. Some examples I did was teaching yoga, leading yoga workshops, pet sitting, freelancing for social media or event coordination.
Debt Diving: We've dived headfirst into tackling debts, big and small. By prioritizing high-interest debts and making consistent payments, we've been chipping away at those balances and feeling more financially empowered every step of the way. THIS ties into knowing your numbers which can feel overwhelming (b/c it is!) but there's a lot of power in knowledge. Just do it! We've got loads of resources on this TBB Biz team to help if ya need!
Invest in YOU: This summer, we've recognized that investing in ourselves is just as important as financial investments. Attending workshops, taking up new hobbies, and prioritizing self-care have all contributed to personal growth and happiness. Ps we just launched the Year Pass...which is access to all our events for just $99 HERE
As we bid farewell to summer (but not just yet), let's carry these money tips with us into the coming months. Remember, it's not just about the dollars and cents – it's about creating a life that's rich in experiences, personal development, and connections. Here's to a fabulous autumn filled with financial wisdom and all-around awesomeness!
