5 Things to Do This Fall in Columbus

Hellloooo!

Pumpkin Spice Lattes are back at Starbucks so you know what that means: Fall is on its way! Every year I’m so happy when the weather starts to cool down, the leaves turn, and Halloween is around the corner. Columbus is full of activities and Fall gets serious love and attention. Here are 5 things to do in Columbus that will get you into the Fall spirit:

1. Apple Picking at Lynd Fruit Farm

This is a classic! I went apple picking for the first time just last year and I had a lot of fun finding the perfect apples and brainstorming what to do with them. There’s also an amazing market full of other vendors, produce, gifts, and specialty ingredients. I tried three different types of pickles. It’s even perfect for a small photoshoot.

2. NightLight 614 Movie Series

Basically imagine a picnic under the moonlight with food trucks, wine, and a good movie with your girlfriends. What more could you ask for? Get tickets soon because they seem to be selling out pretty fast. Upcoming is Pulp Fiction, The Hangover, and a Halloween Gala of Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Azkaban.

3. Brew Festival

Enjoy beer, music, games, and food? Huntington Park on October 1st from 2 - 6 pm will be the place to be to enjoy 50 featured breweries. This is a 21+ event, so don’t worry about teenagers and little kids running around.

4. Hiking in High Banks Metro Park

Although I’m not the biggest fan of the outdoors, you may be! This is the perfect time to get out on your bike or on a hike to enjoy the beautiful trees and great weather. High Banks Metro Park seems perfect with smaller trails and more challenging hikes all in one place.

5. HighBall Halloween

If you still love getting dressed up in costumes, this might be the perfect place for you. Deemed “the nation’s most elaborate costume party,” it may be worth tapping into your Halloween spirit and heading downtown with a few friends.
