Hi everyone! I’m Kim Meadows, married for 30+ years

I was a Stay at Home Mom of two daughters for 19 years

Live on a horse farm

Recently became an empty nester

We do our best to live a clean holistic lifestyle, but this girl likes her lattes, wine, margaritas shopping and getting mani and pedi’s

Tell us about your business-

I’m a brand ambassador with Red Aspen

I wasn’t thrilled with all the chemicals in the nail salons and started researching my options.

Red Aspen products are low tox, clean and cruelty free.

They have named their products after real women that have a unique and inspiring story.

Red Aspen is owned by three women- two sisters and a best friend.

We sell nails, lashes, and clean make-up

I focus on the nails and lashes. They are inexpensive, reusable, and easy to apply so you can feel confident about using them.

I love working for a company that is women owned and operated.

What type of impact do you hope to have on those you meet/speak to?

My hope is to inspire others to believe they are real women who have real bodies and real beauty.  Our mission statement is what I try to share in hopes to empower others.  To stand up, stand out, and stand together by uniting their passion with purpose.

What advice would you give to yourself from 5 years ago?

I was facing the most difficult time of my life and if it weren’t for my faith, family, and friends, I’m not sure how I would have survived it.  So, my advice, no matter the adversity and heartache – always trust, believe, and never lose hope!

What does beauty mean to you?

Beauty is not what the outside looks like.  Beauty comes from within your soul.  Someone who believes in themselves, trusts their instincts, shines God’s light, serves others with joy and exudes confidence.

What do you love most about owning your own business?

I wasn’t sure what my life was going to look like when I became an empty nester.  I’m a people person and love meeting friends for coffee, wine, shopping and going for long walks. But I was needing and wanting more. Owning my own business gives me a purpose as an empty nester. I can serve and inspire others. I love that I can work from anywhere and make my own schedule. It’s rewarding owning my own business at this stage of my life.

Who or what inspires you?

Hospitality, giving, serving, and encouraging people inspires me. Lights my fire, motivates me to keep going.

I like the quote from Red Aspen’s CEO, Genie Reese, “If you are always trying to be normal, you’ll never know how amazing you can be.  This is so true! Empowered women empower women!
