Hi, I’m Mailette Lopez, owner of Love Sugaring Academy!
 

HOW I GOT STARTED:
I got started in college. I decided to go to esthetician school for fun, but after grad school and learning the art of sugaring I decided to turn it into a full-time business. I have built multiple six figure spa businesses in multiple states. 

MY BUSINESS:
The name of my business is Love Sugaring Academy and I educate estheticians in the art of sugaring hair removal, coach businesses in the beauty industry through group coaching, masterminds and individual programs and still nurture my amazing clientele. I consider myself a skin therapist. I use different modalities to customize your skin’s needs. Whether that is with sugaring, products, energy work, sound healing, reiki and so much more!

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT OWNING A SMALL BUSINESS:
I get to do things my way. I decide what success looks like and I get to show up as me every day and make an impact, even if it’s small.

HOW OTHERS CAN GET INVOLVED WITH US:
Others can partner with me either as a spa client, esthetician looking to take their business to the next level through learning sugaring hair removal or beautifying their business in one of coaching packages.

ADVICE I'D GIVE TO A NEW BUSINESS OWNER:
Embrace your femininity. That’s where our creativity is born. We live in an environment where masculinity is celebrated. Work hard, hustle, etc. There is an ebb and flow of creativity and doing. Allow your creativity to flow and then take that aligned action. You get to define success for your business. There is no right or wrong, just what is right for you. Trust your gut and intuition it is NEVER wrong.
