Zero Commitment Weekends

Hey Gal! Happy Monday!

We are talking on the subject of “Zero Commitment Weekends."

I posted about this on my IG and I got a ton of DMs about this so I figured it must be a hot topic:)

Basically, I try to commit to NOTHING on the weekends. I'll have “options” but I don't commit to anything to keep myself sane.

Why:

I prefer to be more social during the weekdays. I will build in a couple dinners or happy hours in with friends or play evening tennis or hit up the kickball league I'm a part of but I keep these early too and am home by 830/9pm always.

How's it Work:

So when it comes to the weekend, I have potential options of things to do that people may have asked me on but I let them know I'm not commiting to anything and will just let them know if I happen to be able to make it. I don't even prioritize workouts. I'm pretty active during the week and do find myself typically working out one of the two weekend days but I don't kill myself to make that happen either. The only real thing I ensure I do that I've told you about in here before is I try to setup my week for an hour or so on Sundays for the week ahead.

Now I want you to try this IF you've been feeling overwhelmed, bogged down..simply slammed with the go go go. Summer is super fun but not when it exhausts you. Just practice saying something like, “hey thanks so much for the invite. I've been over-doing it lately so I'm going to keep my weekend low key but if it turns out I can make it I'll definitely let ya know.”
