Reels Best Practices:
MUSIC: Always use a trending sound. You can find this by the mini carrot arrow in the bottom right corner of reels. You want to aim for trending sounds that are between 1k-10k but not ones that are trending crazy like 250k b/c those are so trendy that you’ll get lost so you want music that is new and fresh on the trend train. Don’t go OVER 10k.
LENGTH OF TIME: 6-10 seconds perform best.
Make the first video something fun + catchy…maybe YOU or a group of fun women laughing etc.
Add collaborators when it makes sense for double promotion.
Add a location
Add a cover picture or make sure the cover looks good on your feed.
Use hashtags that are relevant to your city and your content
