Today we are meeting Allison Gianattasio, owner of Scroll!

Tell us about you and your background!
I’m Allison Gianattasio - a marketing specialist with an MBA and a strong background in various industries. I specialize in media strategy, branding, events, and media promotion! My career has been defined by a passion for helping brands and individuals transform their visions into tangible strategies, and exciting visuals, and creating roadmaps that lead to results.

I was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, and hold my Midwest roots close to my heart. I grew up in a big Greek family, where we have always celebrated the cultural traditions and festivities that come with being Greek - aka a lot of food and a lot of family time! Throughout my career, I have thrived in dynamic, fast-paced environments, where I've had the opportunity to leverage my expertise in media strategy, branding, and event management to drive growth and success for my clients. I believe that every brand and individual has a unique story to tell, and I am here to help them craft that narrative into a compelling marketing strategy.

Tell us about your business & why you started it?
My business, Scroll, is driven by a focus of educating clients on the power media has to attract, connect, and produce moments that impact and resonate with target audiences. I'm passionate about storytelling and shaping meaningful connections through media, and this enthusiasm fuels my work every day. Scroll was born out of a desire to explore fresh, unconventional solutions that push the boundaries of traditional media marketing.

Marketing is a rollercoaster ride, full of opportunities for creativity, quick adaptation, and staying at the forefront of the latest trends. I draw from my passion for social media, branding, and innovative design concepts to craft significant moments that not only make a lasting impression but deliver lasting results. Scroll was created to bring these dynamic elements together and help brands and individuals make a significant impact in the media and marketing realm.

What do you love about being a business owner?
I love being a business owner because it allows me to share my passion for educating, teaching, and working closely with others! I love showing others the transformative impact media can have on their businesses, helping them unlock new opportunities for growth!

What type of impact do you hope to have on those you meet and/or who receive your services?
My hope is to teach people that media has the power to do more than capture moments; it has the ability to foster genuine connections among individuals and drive business growth. My hope is that those I meet and serve will come to understand the impact media can have in transcending the mere visual and creating meaningful, lasting connections that benefit both people and businesses.

What advice would you give to yourself from 5 years ago? OR your past self just starting your business?
I'd say: Embrace change and remember that life doesn't start in your comfort zone. Be open to new experiences, take calculated risks, and never underestimate the power of human adaptability. It's in those moments of growth and challenge that you truly discover your potential and drive!!

What does BEAUTY mean to you?
Beauty is echoed through kindness, humility, creativity, connection, and inner peace. These qualities are always observable in someone – making us all strikingly unique.

Who or what inspires you?
A lot of things inspire me. Two prominent and guiding forces of inspiration:

My family: The hard work of my family and commitment to achieving their dreams. My father is a business owner, and though busy throughout our teenage life, he was always there to support us and our endeavors, guiding us but also allowing us to choose our path in creating a life that fits our needs. I am so grateful for that.
