HER STORY ⟡ Amy Jacobs
Hi, my name is Amy and I live in Dublin with my husband and two teenage kids and our sweet dog, Summer.
While I am new to selling Color Street, I have been a fan of the product for years. Selling Color Street started out as a way to support my obsession with the company’s nail strip products. I change my manicure often to match my outfit or to accessorize for holidays. I would always receive compliments on my nails and would talk about the product and the company. I always ended the conversation with telling them to check out the website and usually wishing I had a sample to share with them.
Next thing I knew I was signing up to be a stylist and now I carry around samples so I can show everyone how simple it is to have cute, fun nails.
Why I started:
I became a Color Street Stylist because I wanted to share with others the amazing feeling I get when I receive compliments on my nails. Knowing it was so simple to achieve the look of an amazing manicure without the time or expense.
What I love about being a business owner:
My family always comes first so I love that I can work hours that are flexible around my family time.
What type of impact do you hope to have on those you meet and/or who purchase your products?
I hope the people who purchase Color Street products use them to express their personalities. Whether it’s because they are wearing a product that supports a cause they feel strong about like Autism Awareness or Breast Cancer Awareness or Toys for Tots; or because they are just having some fun trying out some new manicure combinations.
Who or what inspires you?
The women in my life inspire me the most. I have learned a lot from my female friends and from the women in my family. They have shown me to never give up even when you think the situation is impossible. They show me how to find joy in the simple things in life. Most importantly, they have shown me the importance of not taking yourself too seriously and how to have fun.
What is your favorite piece of advice you've ever received or favorite quote?
