HER STORY ⟡ Christine Santori

My name is Christine Santori, and my family and I moved from Chicago (Evanston) in 2011 to Indianapolis. It feels like we always belonged here, and I can’t imagine us living anywhere else! When I’m not driving around my three children, I am snuggling with our Covid dog while binge watching TV. I love all things sparkly, ice cream, clean beauty, and American Girl. 

Why I started: 

Since staying at home with my three children, I had been struggling for a while to create an identity other than “mom.” Then Covid quarantine in March 2020 hit me hard mentally and emotionally. All the selfcare I had worked so hard to put into place to keep me in a great place mentally and give me my own space just went out the window. In January 2021, I made taking care of myself a priority; I felt like a human again, someone worthy of space, and my confidence and joy returned. I have found such joy in helping women feel confident again, show their authentic selves, and find what brings them joy! 

What I love about being a business owner: 

I value being able to work on my own schedule, using pockets of time to be efficient but not miss out on family time. I love having the ability to give back to my community and help others give back to their favorite causes through my Kendra Scott events. 

What does BEAUTY mean to you? 

BEAUTY means loving yourself for exactly who you are at that moment, flaws and all, and knowing that you are worthy of love and respect. 

What advice would you give your past self just starting your business? 

Push past the fear and just jump!
