RaMa Danielle-Marie MA is the creatrix of the podcast Stars, Stones and Stories and keeper of the GOLDEN GATE ESOTERAKA Ancient Future Mystery School. She is an interdisciplinary artist, international woman of medicine, alchemical astrologer, cosmic high priestess, doula, childbirth educator, herbalist, gridkeeper, pilgrimage steward, sound healer and yogic scientist. She has studied the art of starkeeping for over 30 years and holds a Master of Arts in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology with Merit through Sophia Centre for the Study of Cosmology in Culture at the University of Wales. Why I started - What inspired you to become an entrepreneur? Was there a specific moment or experience that sparked your entrepreneurial journey?
Yes! In 2008, I was living in LA and working at the lululemon athletica in Beverly Hills for a couple of years as a marketing manager and took a week off to study deeper upon the yogic path. I was already a certified yoga instructor and teaching chair yoga to seniors with Alzheimer's at a couple of nursing homes.
In this week I was immersed in prenatal kundalini teacher training and met the most inspiring nurse who was also a birth doula. I was deeply awakened by the journey of consciousness and knew in my bones that I needed to take the plunge and work for myself, building my own business so that I could truly serve people without being bound by an establishment or a 'boss' holding be back because of their own perception of me when I was clear on what my personal mission and vision was.
I felt a Calling deep in my bones and followed this path very intuitively and instinctively. Since then, I could say that my 'business' has now morphed into four very distinct phases, and this current incarnation feels like an amalgamation of all that I have learned and experienced over the years of serving women and their families on a path of consciousness evolution.
What impact do you hope to make through your business?
To elevate and evolve collective consciousness by serving the Ancient Future with an emphasis on the Divine Feminine.
Who or what inspires you?
Nature, the Divine, our inherent creativity as humans, particularly as women.
What is your favorite piece of advice you've ever received (or favorite quote)?
So many quotes and so much advice. Right now, this is my favorite:
True teaching is not an accumulation of knowledge. It is an awakening of consciousness which goes through successive stages.'

Do you have any tips on overcoming challenges/mistakes/self doubt?
Yes, keep coming home to yourself. Find practices that bring you deep within. Find mentors and healers that bring you to your own inner wisdom. Surround yourself with authenticity.

What does BEAUTY mean to you?
BEAUTY is EVERYTHING to me. I am ruled by Venus and I love the concept of BEAUTY. I relate to Venus as the planet, as the Elder Sister to Earth. I feel this planetary frequency is guiding us Earthlings to love and celebrate just being HUMAN.
Life is precious and a gift. I believe we are here to create beauty, to celebrate beauty, and to elevate beauty. For me beauty is not about being 'pretty' or 'good looking', however, there is a deep element of self-care that lives within the realm of beauty.
I see beauty as a celebration and devotional path to that which is authentic, truthful, and sovereign, while also being dedicated to craft and holistic awareness.
What advice would you give your past self just starting your business or to a woman wishing to start her own entrepreneurial journey?
1. Hone in on your unique medicine.
2. Do not overcomplicate the process.
3. Do emphasize your strengths.
4. Learn how to get support early on. Hire mentors.
5. Have at least one or two people who are truly cheering for you that you can reach out to when things get difficult.
6. You know you are successful when people start criticizing your work or copying you.
7. Be bold.
What practices and rituals do you have that helps you create harmony/balance in your life & business?
My daily practice which includes Nature immersions, movement, breathwork, mantra, meditation, and journaling.
Eating healthy foods and drinking lots of water.
Taking time to relax each day and enjoy my life.
Trusting in the flow of my business and getting to know her unique frequency and how to best serve her.
