I currently just went on a super drive-able + affordable trip to Charleston.

 

Every time I travel I feel re-inspired and more motivated when it comes to my work + overall life.  Annnd I feel like it's the ideal time to be thinking about travel plans with Summer coming up..so we made this fun + easy list for you:) 

 

Check out our top 5 quick and affordable weekend getaways in the U.S.

1. Nashville, Tennessee: 

Nashville is a vibrant and exciting city with a rich history of music and culture. Visit the Country Music Hall of Fame, take a tour of the historic Ryman Auditorium, and enjoy live music at one of the city's many honky-tonk bars. With affordable hotels and plenty of free or low-cost activities, Nashville is a great weekend getaway destination! My personal favorite area is Germantown. 

 

2. Asheville, North Carolina: 

Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Asheville is a picturesque city known for its arts, culture, and natural beauty. Take a scenic drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway, explore the Biltmore Estate, and hike to stunning waterfalls in the nearby Pisgah National Forest. Asheville also offers a variety of affordable lodging options, from cozy bed and breakfasts to budget-friendly hotels. I personally love just walking around + checking out local breweries. 

 

3. New Orleans, Louisiana: 

New Orleans is a city unlike any other, with a rich history, unique culture, and world-famous cuisine. Visit the historic French Quarter, take a jazz tour, and enjoy a po' boy sandwich or beignet at one of the city's many delicious eateries. With affordable lodging options and plenty of free or low-cost activities, New Orleans is a great weekend getaway destination.

 

4. Austin, Texas: 

Austin is a vibrant and eclectic city known for its music, food, and outdoor activities. Take a dip in Barton Springs Pool, explore the vibrant South Congress neighborhood, and catch live music at one of the city's many venues. Austin also offers plenty of affordable lodging options, from quirky boutique hotels to budget-friendly motels.

 

5.Portland, Oregon: 

Portland is a quirky and charming city known for its craft breweries, coffee shops, and food carts. Explore the city's many parks and gardens, visit the famous Powell's City of Books, and sample delicious food and drink at one of the city's many breweries and cafes. With affordable lodging options and plenty of free or low-cost activities, Portland is a great weekend getaway destination!

 

BONUS

If some of these require too much cost or travel, explore a simple cabin getaway within a couple hours drive OR just book an airbnb in your downtown area and make it a staycation with your partner or friend:)
