The Things I Learned this Year

Hey Gal! Happy Monday + Happy New Year!

Today I'm chatting on the things I learned this past year! Hope you enjoy!

Here's a rundown in no specific order:

*No matter the amount, drinking can ruin my entire next day leaving me feeling sluggish and unmotivated

*I never regret how I feel after a workout

*A morning routine that feels resonable and doable for you can change your life

*Letting go of people that don't align with your values is REALLY hard. You will think about them (maybe forever) but it's still needed

*Letting go of romantic relationships that gave you “butterflies” aka anxiety nonstop is really hard.  You might think about that person a lot even if it's not what you want for your life

*Finding a GOOD counselor changed my life. It changed how I think in every single way. If you don't know where to start, try Better Help

Tip: Retake the test (if your price is set too high) to get your price point lower by answering the questions a bit more vague;)

*Even if you're doing what you want in life, it can be hard and deeply stressful while ALSO being fulfilling and rewarding.

*Limit your time on Tiktok ;) -→ but do follow us on TikTok lol @thebeautyboost

*Discipline over motivation. It doesn't matter what you feel like doing. Do the things you need to set up your day and who you desire to be.

*Look at your values often and ask yourself if your life choices align with them. If they don't, make a change.

*All relationships are work. Major work. The romantic ones. The friendships. The ones with our family.

*Learn to be a good communicator and use your words. A great book my therapist recommended is Crucial Conversations. It works for all styles of relationships. It's heavy but good.

*Investing in your health is not just social, mental and physical but also examine your atmosphere. Loose the plug-ins and fragrance and switch to healthier alternatives.

Cannot wait for the year ahead with you…starting with The Year Project this January. Take a look at your city and sign up if you love goal setting and all the things!
